Social Media: Stay Connected

Social Media can keep you up-to-date and informed on all things Xerox.  We are in the age where information travels worldwide at what seems like the speed of light. Social media has “blown up” in the last 16 years with the founding of LinkedIn on May 5, 2003, Facebook on February 4, 2004, the launching of YouTube in February 2005,  the creation of Twitter on March 21, 2006, Instagram was launched on October 6, 2010, just to name a few. Blogging is the granddaddy coming into its own in the early 1990s. Xerox is being proactive in trying to connect to you, our customers, through many different forms of social media that you use and enjoy.

Our goal in using social media is to get information to you as quickly as possible and to keep you in the loop about what is going on in our ever changing business. So how can you connect to us you ask? Well first subscribe to this blog using the subscribe section. Just enter your e-mail address and choose the notifications you would like. We will notify you with a short and simple e-mail when this blog and only this blog posts a new article or you can choose the digest option to get a weekly or monthly notification. You may also unsubscribe at any time, though we hope you don’t..

We have the Xerox Customer Support Community which is a peer to peer forum. Forums date back to 1994 so I guess they are the great-grandfather of social media. The forum is where you, the customers, help each other with answers to questions about our products. The forum community is a helpful support resource available to you 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The community includes a search feature to help you find answers to your questions. You can also tailor subscriptions to posts that you want to follow. While you are at the forum maybe you will have an answer to share with another user. Register for the forum and join the conversation.

You can subscribe to our support channel Xerox Support on YouTube where you can watch videos about how to use your machines and how to troubleshoot problems you may run into while using your printer(s). You can follow us on LinkedIn and see all the new and interesting things that are going on at Xerox.

Follow XeroxSupport or Xerox on Twitter which will keep you up-to-date on the latest things going on at 280 characters or less. There are several other Xerox groups on Twitter that you can follow as well. We also have a corporate Facebook page where you can learn even more about Xerox and what we are doing and where the future leads. In addition to the main corporate Facebook page there are several other Xerox pages for different divisions and countries.

Find us using @xerox on Instagram.  There you will find images and videos that tell the story of the Xerox of today and the one we plan to be in the future.

Stay in touch and in the know, subscribe to us, friend us, follow us, and check out our channel,

I will leave you with this: the first tweet that can be verified was “just setting up my twttr” sent by one of the developers Jack Dorsey at 1:02 pm on March 21, 2006. Do you think in decades to come that tweet will become as well known as “Mr. Watson, come here, I want you.” the first words spoken on the telephone by the inventor Alexander Graham Bell on March 10, 1876, 130 years earlier?
