There May Be An App For That – Xerox App Gallery

The Xerox App Gallery is a selection of apps that add features or capabilities for your multifunction printers. Your printer can become an office assistant with the integration of apps. The apps in the Xerox App Gallery are designed by Xerox and Xerox third-party partners.

In the App Gallery, there are all sorts of apps that can improve productivity, simplify workflows, and even enhance the user experience.  With an App Gallery account you will have direct access to apps for your machine. An App Gallery account allows you to view and get Apps, install Apps to the multifunction printers and manage your Apps and licenses.

The Apps in the Gallery are either free with no license required or they may require you to purchase a license, these Apps are called Paid-License Apps.  Apps available in the Xerox App Gallery include apps in the following categories:

  • Printing, Scanning, and Faxing Apps
  • Cloud Apps
  • Device (MFP) Management Apps
  • Third-party Partner Apps

Now the question is how do you get the Xerox App Gallery?  Let me explain the options.  By default, many Apps from Xerox App Gallery, including the Xerox App Gallery App, are pre-installed and available on all 2016 Xerox ConnectKey Technology-enabled i-series MFPs. Some of you will have a device that does not have the 2016 Xerox ConnectKey Technology; you can manually install the Xerox App Gallery App.  The Xerox App Gallery App is available from the Xerox App Gallery Web Portal.

Once you have the Xerox App Gallery App installed you can select it from the control panel and either create an account or log in to an existing account.  When you are logged in you can perform App Gallery functions such as browse available Apps and Install and update Apps.
