There are some new printers in town.  These printers are the Xerox VersaLink® C400 Printer and the VersaLink® B400 Printer.  The VersaLink C400 is a color printer and the VersaLink B400 is a monochrome (black and white) printer.  These printers also offer different configurations and optional features so that you can customize the printer to meet your processes.

Both printers support Letter, Legal and A4 papers, with first out speed of printing at 8 to 13 seconds and a print speed of up to 47 ppm (pages per minute). Speeds will depend on if you have the VersaLink C400 or B400.  These printers have some of the most advanced and complete mobile solutions to fit right in with your mobile workforce.

One of the new features is the Near Field Communications (NFC) Tap-to-Pair, users simply tap their Android device to a VersaLink printer or multifunction printer to establish a direct connection. Printing is handled using a wireless connection.  The optional wireless network adapter must be installed. If the wireless network adapter is not installed, printing is handled via the Ethernet network. The Tap-to-Pair feature allows for greater security and results in less waste because the users are in direct proximity to the device and can retrieve their jobs.

You can find detailed information on the product pages, in the brochures and in the videos.  The videos were recently uploaded to the Xerox YouTube channel.  I have included an overview video of the Xerox VersaLink C400 Color Printer below.

The printers also have the support you have come to expect from Xerox.  The online support knowledgebases are already posted with how tos and helpful information for using and maintaining the machines.  Documentation and drivers are also available on the support sites for the printers.

Please review the product sites for the VersaLink C400 Printer and the VersaLink B400 Printer.  From those product pages you can navigate to the brochures, specifications, support and much, much more.  Please take a look at these new printers and see if they have a place or can fill a need in your ever changing office processes.  Next week join us for a quick overview of the new multifunction printers in the VersaLink family.
