The Xerox® Versant 80 Press

The Versant 80 Press is a production press. The Versant 80 combines new features and functionality to create high-end applications on many media types. It provides these production capabilities with walk-up simplicity. The press prints at 80 pages per minute (ppm), delivers ultra HD, 10 bit image quality at 2400 x 2400 dpi. The printer has offset-quality performance and automated features that remove the guesswork out of optimizing image quality, color and registration.

Print-for-pay and in-plant printers looking for extra productivity can add an optional Performance Package, which maintains top speeds of 80 ppm on all stocks up to 350 gsm along with an in-line spectrophotometer for increased color automation. The Versant 80 Press Performance Package option includes the Automated Color Quality Suite. ACQS takes the variability out color by using a full spectrum of color management hardware and software tools to calibrate, create and verify color profiles automatically.

The Versant 80 comes with a choice of two servers: the Xerox EX-i 80 Print Server Powered by Fiery® or the Xerox EX 80 Print Server Powered by Fiery. The Versant 80 Press can easily produce variable data-driven personalized communications with the addition of XMPie® uDirect® Classic Pro software.

For print-for-pay and in-plants, the Versant 80 combines new features and functionality to produce high-end applications faster on more media types. There are also several available finishers for the machine with folding, cutting and other finishing options.  Take a look at the following video for an overview of the Versant 80 Press.

Support for the machine is available on the support page which includes frequently asked questions, how to, and more. More information about the machine can be found in the brochure and on the machine site.

      Hi Brad,
Thank you for reading the At Your Service blog. I am not aware of any success stories or case studies using Lenticular on the Xerox Versant 80 press. I would suggest contacting your local support centre to see if they have done any testing with the program.
