    Above settings applied on our newly purchased Xerox WC5325 machine but mails are not being sent.
    Also tried with different mail ID’s

    Pls help me out if do so.

      Thank you for reading the At Your Service blog. Please take a look at the solutions for issues with emailing using Gmail. If the solutions do not help please search on email in the product support page for your machine. There are several helpful items about Gmail and Yahoo mail. If the problems continue please contact your local support centre.

    Hello Cheryl,

    Before posting comment on website, I was discussed with xerox technician & he said last year in 2015, google has changed some security setting @ his end. Hence google email ID can not be configured in Xerox printer for “scan to email” option.

    Please help us

    Hi Cheryl,

    I was gone thru the link you had provided above. And did all the settings as mentioned but still it is not working.
    Still, we are not able to use “Scan to mail” option. Also contacted local support so many times but still it is in vain.
    Can you please provide the escalation matrix. So, I can escalate this matter

      Thank you for reading the blog. There is no escalation matrix. You can contact support and ask to speak with someone in 2nd level or ask for a supervisor if you feel you are not getting the help you need.

    I have exactly same problem with the Xerox Workcentre 5645. I already did update firmware, but it’s not working. Please help me.

    This configuration works on Xerox WorkCenter 3215 (with latest Firmware)

    1. SMTP Server:
    2. Port: 465
    3. SMTP Requiere Authentication: Enable
    4. Login ID: full email adress ( + email credentials
    5. Secure E-mail: SSL

    ATTENTION: In Gmail account > Sign-in & Security must be set the option > Allow less secure apps: ON

    Useless, There is NO “use SSL” on a workCentre 7835 with modern firmware.

    I was missing the: ATTENTION: In Gmail account > Sign-in & Security must be set the option > Allow less secure apps: ON
